"Once more led a-stray"

Films: The Pack (2015)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Forest/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of average dogs.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: Back in the 70s, we saw the terrifying tale of a bunch of people at the mercy of a large pack of stray dogs led by a legitimately unhinged mongrel. Here, the story doesn't have quite as much nuance, but it's twice as bloody, and this time, while the pack is smaller, it's far more of a quality-over-quantity situation.

History: Somewhere in the countryside of Australia, the local livestock is dwindling significantly. All that's left are mutilated corpses and nothing that would point to people as the perpetrator. Instead, the culprit is a pack of vicious wild dogs out to kill whatever they can catch. And in time, they decide that humans are the best game. So now, a family has to endure a night of hounds coming after their throats.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After the rest of his pack is either sniped or wounded, the alpha is brought down after taking a beating from a tire iron before being shot. However, it is implied that this was not the only pack out there...

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-You would never believe that these canines were nothing less than wolves. But here we have a bunch of pitch-black German Shepherds baring their teeth. And once they get to the mauling, we get to see it in all its horrific glory. One is a blight, many is just death.

Trivia: -Australia does have a dog problem. Specifically, a dingo problem. Dingoes are basically Australian wild dogs that have turned raiding farms and other rural settlements into an art. Livestock are not safe from these packs, and small children are huge targets for them too, even if most human fatalities are rare. This film is partially based on these incidents.

-The dogs were mainly played by five attack dogs brought in from overseas.

He may not be the original pack leader, but he's got the bloodthirst.

A break from the bloodlust.

"A game of fetch? You devious female."
You can only stall them over and over again.

The most well-behaved dogs and they're psychotic.

The visit to the dog park after this incident didn't go well.
